I miss the 80’s. A time where you could go to spend all day at the theaters and see a puppet monster wearing a trench coat mimic flash a young bartender, Dan Aykroyd get a blowjob from a ghost, and Robert De Niro... well, you will just have to watch Once Upon a Time in America to see what he did. Twice.
What a weekend. June of 1984 was a wild weekend to spend at the movies and Michael and I spent all day there. And I mean ALL DAY (just check Once Upon a Time in America’s runtime).
Grab some popcorn and join us at the movies and you be the judge. Did the people get it right? Does Ghostbusters deserve its place in history? Or, when asked who we’re going to call, should we instead be calling back, “Gizmo!”
